Surveillance camera footage from a 48-year-old woman from Braunau documented how two men took wood from an unlocked wooden hut and loaded it onto a car trailer. The suspected theft of wood was only reported by the Salzburg police on October 6th, which is a topic of conversation for many in the region.
The two suspects, aged 33 and 42 and from Tamsweg, are suspected of wanting to resell the stolen wood. Both men have now been identified and must appear in court. During the investigation, it emerged that the 42-year-old was caught behind the wheel of a vehicle with an alcohol level of over 2.6 per mille.
