TriPowerWimbergerFreistadt: Seven podium places fought for at Donaulauf!

October is a very special month for the TriPower WimbergerFreistadt runners. At the beginning of the month, 17 athletes from the club took part in the 17th Danube Run in Ottensheim, which was also part of the OÖLV state championships. A real highlight for the region and the members who took on the challenge of the various distances. How Tips reported, the atmosphere along the route, which led from the Donaustadion via the Ottensheim market square to the regatta course and back to the Danube promenade, was rousing.

The participants in the five kilometer run included Paula, Luisa and Klara Hofer, Emma Sengstbratl and Thomas Albert, who, however, competed outside of the official national championship. In the U18 championship, Matteo Albert represented the club and completed one lap of the prestigious track.

Strong performances in the ten-kilometer run

In contrast to the five kilometers, the ranking positions in the ten kilometer run were firmly in the hands of TriPowerWimbergerFreistadt: Edith Barth-Raml, Matthias Aumayr, Florian Böhm, Fabian Freudenthaler, Florian Haider, Michael Hofer, Thomas Hoffelner, Christian Huber, Markus Scheubmayr, Franz Rennhofer and Hannes Scherb started here. And they did good business: a total of seven podium places in the age groups were achieved, including four first places. A remarkable success for the club and its athletes!
