UET Dancers rocked the gala: 25 years of dance history at Esterhazy Castle!
The UET Dancers celebrated an impressive anniversary last Saturday at Esterhazy Castle. With the gala called “Evoluetion” they honored their 25th anniversary and presented a varied program that reflects the group's eventful dance history. A total of 90 dancers performed and thrilled the audience with 25 choreographies from previous years. The feedback was overwhelming: standing ovations and loud applause rewarded the actors for their effort and passion. My district reports that Doris Rupp, the founder and director of the UET Dancers, also praised the positive response from viewers and there are already plans for a chronicle of the dancers' stories.
An exciting part of the gala was the exhibition that took place during the break. Here visitors could immerse themselves in the past and see costumes and props from over 100 dances. The UET Dancers have presented themselves not only as dancers, but also as living witnesses of dance culture. Preparations for the next dance season are already underway, and the first competition is scheduled for the end of February.
