Bludenz is growing: 12 million euros for the new headquarters of Dieffenbacher Energy!
Something is happening in Bludenz! Dieffenbacher Energy, an emerging energy company, has announced plans for a new headquarters in the city. With an investment of an impressive 12 million euros, construction of a state-of-the-art office building is scheduled to begin in autumn 2025. The project is scheduled to be completed in early summer 2027. This project will not only strengthen Bludenz as a business location, but also create numerous jobs.
The new building will be built within walking distance of the train station and the old town and covers an area of around 2,000 m², of which around 1,400 m² will be used as office space. In total, over 140 jobs will be created, which is a real bright spot for local employment. The infrastructure of the new building is well thought out: an underground car park with 50 parking spaces is planned, supplemented by above-ground parking spaces for cars as well as 30 parking spaces for bicycles and 11 for e-bikes, which are also equipped with charging stations. Even a roof terrace is part of the design, which creates a cozy atmosphere.
Together in one place
“We have a good hand for this location,” says managing director Wolfgang Lashofer, emphasizing how important the new building is for internal employee collaboration. The employees currently work at two different locations in Bludenz; The new location is intended to unite the teams and thus strengthen the feeling of togetherness. This improves internal communication, which ultimately speeds up processes in the company.
Dieffenbacher Energy was only founded in January 2023 after the Dieffenbacher Group took over Bertsch Holding GmbH. The company has developed rapidly since then and plans to terminate its current tenancy in Bludenz once the new building is completed. This turns the rental into a fixed location that offers employees a modern and sustainable working environment in which efficient work is encouraged.
Construction work and inauguration
The construction work is being carried out by the renowned construction company Tomaselli Gabriel Bau. The groundbreaking ceremony, which marks the official start of construction work, took place in the presence of Mayor Simon Tschann, City Councilor for Finance Jimmy Heinzl and the architects from Atelier Ender. All of these actors emphasized the importance of this project for the region and the Bludenz location. The new headquarters is another sign that Bludenz is an attractive location for companies.
Dieffenbacher Energy's plans show that future orientation is very important in Bludenz. The creation of modern jobs and the strengthening of the business location are clear indications that progress is being made here. The region can look forward to exciting developments that will significantly improve both the local economy and the labor market situation.
