Enchanting ball night: high school students celebrate the Golden Goal” in Murau!
Last Saturday the time had finally come: 30 high school graduates from BORG Murau were able to celebrate their high school graduation ball in the WM hall. Under the impressive motto “Golden Goal – the perfect ball”, the evening became an unforgettable event. The hall was filled to capacity and the anticipation was palpable. [MeinBezirk] reports that the opening polonaise was choreographed by Chiara Pichormer and thrilled the audience with elaborate lifting figures and acrobatic interludes.
The class leaders Michaela Meyer and Sabine Zirker introduced the newly graduated high school graduates and provided a celebratory setting. Among the guests of honor were mayor Josef Maier (Neumarkt), Gerhard Stolz (Krakow) and Johannes Rauter (Stadl – Predlitz). BORG director Manfred Regner was also present and expressed his pride in the students' talents.
A complete success
The evening was accompanied musically by “Alpensound”. The disco, as a popular meeting place for young people, ensured that the dance floor was never empty. The midnight performance was another highlight of the evening, sporty and lively - the perfect rounding off of a successful ball. The midnight situation, which was prepared in collaboration with all classes, impressed with a well-rehearsed choreography that combined different styles.
But it wasn't just the high school graduates who were the focus. The event also offered space for an important award: Fressnapf Austria presented the “Animally Committed” awards for animal rights activists for the twelfth time and crowned “Pet of the Year” for the second time. The festive mood was combined with meaningful social engagement.
A look into the future
The 58th BORG Murau Matura Ball was not only an impressive start to the ball season, but also a sign of anticipation for the next Matura in June. The class leaders, including Mag. Gernot Zirker, Mag. Christian Dorfer and Mag. Christine Thanner, wished their students good luck and success on their way to graduating from high school. A car race between the class officers provided entertainment and lots of laughter among the guests.
