A very special event is just around the corner: On October 8, 2025, the Rulantica water world in Rust will celebrate World Octopus Day! Under the passionate motto “Octopus fun for the whole family”, the mascot Snorri the Sixtopus ensures a happy atmosphere and lots of variety for the youngest visitors.
The program promises a colorful experience with lots of hands-on activities. From 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., children can, among other things, spin a wheel of fortune and win great prizes. Members of the Europa-Park JUNIOR CLUB also have the opportunity to collect stars, while a “Seahorse” test is offered in cooperation with the DLRG. Another highlight is the children's disco, which starts at 4 p.m. in the Frigg Temple. Loud Metropolitan Journal Admission to the event is included in the regular ticket price.
Playful learning and creativity
Training and fun are also not neglected: educational activities impart knowledge about octopuses in a very uncomplicated way. This includes, among other things, a ring toss game that tests skill, as well as Snorri's knowledge rally, which features questions about the topic of octopus and offers small prizes for the correct answers. It's also particularly creative: tattoo artists are available to beautify small and large visitors with waterproof tattoos of the Sixtopus Snorri.
