Local photography shines in the foyer of the Güssing town hall! The exhibition of Burgenland professional photographers is currently showing the 28 best photos from the region, and five of these outstanding works come directly from Güssing. The vernissage was ceremoniously opened by Mayor Vinzenz Knor, who praised the creativity and technical skills of the photographers. The exhibition is on view until October 20th during town hall opening hours: Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4pm and Friday from 8am to 12pm, perfect for a visit to enjoy the impressive works.
This year the state awards for professional photographers were presented for the fourth time. Over 270 members had the opportunity to submit their best work in ten different categories. The jury assessed the criteria of creativity, competence, technical ability and artistic potential. A total of 17 photographers were honored, which shows how high the standard of Burgenland photography is.
