On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the highly expected district fire service competition of the Steyr-Land district took place in the fire department of the Schiedlberg volunteer fire station. The event was carried out under the best weather conditions and attracted numerous spectators who followed the competitions of the young fire brigade talents and the active groups.

Already in the morning the youth groups stood exciting duels. In the afternoon, the ring then belonged to the active groups who demonstrated their skills. The competition not only has a sporting character, but also promotes cohesion and commitment within the community. The Schiedlberg volunteer fire brigade took over the organization and ensured a smooth process, for which district fire brigade commander LFR Wolfgang Mayr thanked the trainers and the fire brigade Schiedlberg.

The fastest group of the day was again sand 1, which secured the second victory after 2022. In the overall ranking of the active people, Waldneukirchen 1 prevailed, followed by Schweinsegg-Zehetner 1 and Sand 1.
