Frano Sandrk says goodbye: TSV Aurolzmünster rises!

Aurolzmünster, Österreich - Frano Sandrk, the long -time player of TSV Aurolzmünster, officially ended his career today. This decision comes after an exciting season in which TSV Aurolzmünster took second place in the 2nd class West, thus ensuring promotion to the 1st grade South-West. With a clear 4-0 win in the last game against St. Johann, the team celebrated the promotion, even if Sandrk kept his personal ceremony carelessly due to his farewell. "I am very grateful for this time," he explains when he looks back on his relationship with the club and the many encounters that have shaped him.

This exciting season there was a gripping three -way battle between Aurolzmünster, Ampflwang and Obernberg/town. Sandrk, whose role as a leading player was particularly important, emphasizes that the team always dealt well with the pressure and had no doubt about the common goal. During his time at Aurolzmünster, he established himself as a link between players and coaching team and looks back on a career with four championship titles. For him, the TSV is not just an association, but a family. "The club relies on its own players, this is something very special," he emphasizes proudly.

a new beginning

Frano Sandrk made his decision to hang out the football shoes at the beginning of the second half of the season. "I want to spend more time with my family," he explains, "and are no longer interested in regular training." After a planned half a year break, he thinks about returning. The 33-year-old, who lives in the region and the oldest player in the squad, also remembers his time before at SV Riedau, Union St. Martin and ATSV Schärding. His favorite club is Dinamo Zagreb and a cool beer after the game always has a special status.

The upcoming challenges for TSV Aurolzmünster in the 1st class south-west are exciting. Sandrk is optimistic that the team can make relegation as long as cohesion and good preparation are in the foreground. "The quality and potential are definitely available. With a little luck, success can succeed," he says confidently.

The influence of social factors on football

As development in football shows, not only technical skills are crucial for success. Social factors also play an important role in young football. Experts like Dr. René Paasch explain that the sporting performance of young players is strongly influenced by parental support, the trainer player relationship and dealing with criticism and failure. Many young players start playing football at the age of five, and promoting their talents is a complex challenge that includes both psychological and social dimensions. These findings are in a strong contrast to the realistic success rates in football: Of the over 5,700 former U19 young players, only 198 made it into the professional squad.

For Sandrk and his club, however, this figures are reflected in what he has always emphasized: the way to success in football is lined with challenges, but also of beautiful memories and important encounters that shape the life of a player. "On a memorable farewell and new ways," says the 33-year-old and looks expectantly into the future.
