Felix Neureuther: AI and nature experiences for the tourism of the future!
Ex-Skistar Felix Neureuther has presented his view of the future of tourism in a current Tourism Symposium in Kötschach-Mauthen. Together with State Councilor Sebastian Schuschnig and the ÖVP member of the state parliament Ronny Rull, he discussed the topic "Ki and cheese", whereby the influence of artificial intelligence on the industry was in the foreground. In his lecture, Neureuther expressed his great preference for nature and the associated experiences. He believes that the preservation of alpine landscapes is essential for both local people and for tourism.
With an alarming look at the future challenges, Neureuther also illuminated the effects of climate change on the Alps. In a documentary that he turned for the ARD, he makes it clear how the climatic changes affect the mountains and what threats they represent for the people living there. "It is important that we find solutions to keep tourism and quality of life in the Alps," he explains. Again and again he gets in touch with the people who are committed to the preservation of their homeland and develop innovative ideas to meet the challenges. He also shows these experiences on his journey through the Alps, where he campaigns for the careful handling of the natural heritage and underlines the importance of the commitment of the community for a future worth living.
The influence of artificial intelligence on tourism
The Green Initiative offers an exciting perspective on the current state of tourism. It is shown that tourism is a stable industry that not only contributes to economic growth, but also promotes cultural exchange and creates jobs. In view of the increasing challenges through climate change and falling ecosystem health, however, it is becoming increasingly important to reconcile these aspects. The use of artificial intelligence is considered revolutionary when it comes to effectively minimizing environmental impacts and using resources. AI is increasingly used for various areas of application in tourism - from optimizing flight routes to improving energy management in hotels.
There is also special attention to the prognostic use of AI in order to avoid over -tourism and optimize food supply chains. The industry can become more efficient, while at the same time the main focus is on maintaining cultural authenticity and sensual experiences that tourists are looking for. Because it is precisely these human connections that remain unforgettable for travelers.
Current developments and initiatives
To the delight of the guests of Kötschach-Mauthen, there was also an announcement: Regional media Carinthia is organizing a summer competition at which camping holidays wave as prices. In addition, the preparations for the premiere of the acting "Curse of the Rose" at Landskron Castle, which takes place on June 12th. The stage structure has already started and promises an impressive experience for those interested in culture.
Overall, it should be noted that tourism not only requires measures to reduce emissions, but also creative solutions and committed people who not only want to get their homeland, but also want to invest in the future. In a AI-controlled world, the sustainable approach could even open 3 new opportunities for developing countries that are increasingly focusing on experience orientation and climate-resistant infrastructure.
The Alpine region can only remain as a business location and habitat through community action. Therefore, it will be crucial to preserve the existing values and nature experiences and at the same time to use the innovative strength through technologies such as AI. The focus should always be on promoting environmentally conscious and sustainable tourism development.
