The Vienna Atelierhaus, located in the general renovated Pavilion 18 of the listed Otto Wagner area, will open its doors in autumn 2027. This ambitious project aims to create a space for creative minds and to significantly strengthen the city's cultural infrastructure. "I am pleased to develop the Atelierhaus Vienna as a place for a variety of art productions and transdisciplinary exchange," explains Hahn, who has already had 15 years of experience in cultural businesses in Austria and Germany. With a degree in history and art history under the belt and her current work in the Berlin Medical History Museum of the Charité, she brings a lot of know-how.

The studio house will not only offer studio and work rooms, but also workshops and specially equipped sound of art rooms. In addition, large workshop rooms are planned that offer space for interactive events. For international artists: Inside there will also be an artist-in-residence program that includes eight residential units. The design of the rooms is regulated by public tenders that are planned for 2026. This ensures that both Viennese artists: inside and international talents have access to these creative rooms.

The cornerstone for the renovation of the pavilion 18 will be laid in 2024, with completion of the renovation in autumn 2026. The city of Vienna Kunst GmbH, the support organization of the project, has set itself the goal of creating a cultural cluster on the Otto-Wagner area in order to further strengthen the local art scene. "With this studio house we have a unique opportunity to give creative minds a home and to promote the exchange across disciplines," emphasizes Hahn.
