First Naaser Triathlon: Fun for students and teachers in Weiz!
Weiz, Österreich - An exciting event took place on July 16, 2025 in Naas: the first Naaser Triathlon, organized by the Naas elementary school, brought together students, teachers and the entire school community. The triathlon, which included the three disciplines cycling, swimming and running, was a complete success and was carried out in a festive framework.
The bike route led the participants over eight kilometers from the school premises to the Weiz swimming pool and back again. The other two disciplines then took place there. The students were particularly eager to swam their rounds in the pool and then ran on a meadow round. The focus was on fun - the timing was neglected and the competition remained stress -free, so that all children could take part from the first to fourth grade. The fourth discipline caused an additional surprise: slipping over the slide in the Weiz swimming pool directly into the home stretch.
healthy movement for children
Melanie Hutter, the deputy head of the Naas elementary school, emphasized the importance of swimming for children and emphasized that the school offers a swimming course every year. This underlines the commitment of the elementary school for the health and motor development of the students. In an age in which more and more children are sitting in front of screens, such events are particularly important to promote the joy of movement.
For parents who want to make their children in water fit, there is the “NÖ Swimming Kids” project, which can be registered via the website. The next registration phase for summer swimming courses starts on April 7, 2025. Here, a timely registration is mandatory, since the places are granted according to the principle "Whoever comes first". Info for this project can be obtained under nope swimming kids .
The fascination of triathlon
triathlon has established itself as a versatile sport and offers a wide range of options for motor training for students. Often such competitions can take place outdoors, but also in halls. In Germany there are many triathlon departments that offer child and youth training, and schools can benefit by using qualified trainers. This proactive approach to school sports promotes interest in health -conscious movement and team spirit among the students, which is ideally supported by such events as the Naaser Triathlon.
In conclusion, the first Naaser triathlon was not only a great opportunity for the children to show their sporting skills, but also sent an important message about the importance of physical activity and swimming. It is to be hoped that this triathlon will also be an integral part of the school year in the coming years and motivates many other students to become active.Further information on triathlon and school sports can be found at Triathlon Germany .
for everyone who was passionate about their requirements in a happy atmosphere, there were documents at the end of the day who confirmed participation in this special experience.
