Fire service badge - basics and meaning

The fire service badge is awarded in different classes, such as bronze and silver, and consists of two main parts: a fire -fighting attack and a relay race. The comrades show their skills and the ability to work in a team. The difference between the classes is that the participants in the silver class receive their functions through lottery procedures, while in bronze you know in advance what role you have to take on. The strict evaluation guidelines according to time and errors ensure that only the best performance is awarded, as explained on the website ff Schottwien.

The high number of participants and the comradeship lived make these events a special experience for everyone involved. The fire brigade tradition continues in Voitsberg and the cohesion in the community remains strong.
