Ceremonial anniversary night: Landjugend Weißkirchen will be 75 years old!
The Landjugend Weißkirchen was able to celebrate a very special festival: its 75th anniversary was celebrated with a large-scale anniversary, which inspired visitors and members for two days. With a commemorative publication that proudly includes 70 pages, the organization created a memorial that reflects the ideals of rural youth- from customs and traditional care to fun and fun. On the first day of the festival, the "Summerspuk" in the tent at the foot of the Eppenstein ruins created a happy atmosphere. The music group "Die Südsteirer" had the guests sing along and celebrate. Sunday started solemnly with a field fair, celebrated by Pastor Rudi Rappel. This was framed by the new "LJ choir", which gave the celebration a festive framework. Land youth chairman Armin Dier and director Magdalena Steinberger welcomed those present at the ceremony with a review of the past few years, which was enriched by an interview with Frieda Moitzi and Stefan Messner.

In parallel to the celebrations in Weißkirchen, citizens can also experience other events in the region. For example, a movement program is offered in the Europapark Judenburg until September, while in the main square of Judenburg the "Summervibes" always accommodate the summer musically on Fridays. A lot is also offered for families: On July 15, a literature workshop and a pizza baking for children will take place in the Judenburg City Library.The rural youth not only remains an integral part of the community, but also a guarantee for lively traditions and happy events that bring together people of all ages. The Murtal district looks optimistically into the future, while the members of the rural youth continue to cultivate and live their values and ideals.
