Premiere of The Concentrated Faust: Theater camp inspires 200 talents!

In the picturesque backdrop of St. Lambrecht, there is a special premiere into the house: On July 25, 2025, "The Concentrated Faust" will be brought on stage. The production of Goethe's masterpiece brings a breath of fresh air to the classic piece by presenting it in a modern version. Around 200 children, adolescents and adults from Austria, Germany and Switzerland have come together to be part of this impressive project. The intensive preparation time of two weeks includes singing coaching, theater pedagogy, acting training and choreography, all under the direction of a professional team of theater and stage specialists.

The line -up promises tension: Cornelia Mooswalder takes on the role of Mephisto, while Florian Sebastian Fitz as Dr. Fist appear. This ensemble is supplemented by talented young young actors, which makes the performance a real highlight. In addition to the premiere, several additional performance dates are also planned, including July 26th at 5 p.m., July 27 at 3 p.m., as well as other performances on August 1, 2 and 3, 2025. These performances take place as part of a larger theater camp that offers a unique opportunity for the participants to show their skills in front of the audience.

supporting program on the festival day

A special highlight awaits visitors on August 3: The Wandelbühne fair in the St. Lambrecht Peterskirche. In addition, the music association "Mountain sounds" St. Bladen will offer musical accompaniment to the marquee. For gourmets, the morning pint, in which delicious Brathendl is served by Adeg Grasser, must be an absolute. This not only becomes a enjoyment of art, but also a culinary experience.

The entire project aims to promote young talents and give them a platform to live out their passion for theater. As the staging in Weimar shows, where two young actors approach Goethe's work with respect and curiosity, the participants in St. Lambrecht show that the theater can beat a bridge between the past and the present. The interplay of cheerfulness and serious topics also finds its place in Murau's production.

The preparations are under a good star, and the anticipation for a culturally rich experience is noticeable. Further information about the event and the possibility of ticket reservation can be found on the website of the Wandelbühne.

do not miss this unique theater event, which will not only enliven the stage, but also appeals to the hearts and thoughts of the spectators. It will be exciting to see how the actors of Goethe's timeless questions about humanity and existence interpret in an innovative way.
