Dürnstein fire brigade celebrates with new vehicles: security for everyone!

On Saturday afternoon the time had come: The Dürnstein fire brigade in Neumarkt celebrated the blessing of its new vehicles with a great ceremony. The newly procured emergency vehicles were officially taken over in a solemn setting. Among the guests of honor were local politicians such as LAbg. Max Lercher and Mayor Josef Maier, who highlighted the importance of the new devices for the security of the community.

The fire brigade Dürnstein has invested vigorously in the equipment of its brisk. Overall, the sum for the new vehicles amounts to an impressive 497,500 euros. The costs are composed:

• truck with equipment: 402,000 euros
• Team bus: 65,000 euros
• pump trailer: 17,500 euros
• load capacity pump: 13,000 euros

The financing was ensured by the state of Styria, the State Fire Brigade Association, the market town of Neumarkt and the fire brigade itself.

The ceremony itself opened by Probst Leszek Zagorowski with a solemn consecration of the vehicles. In addition, the Musikverein Mariahof, under the direction of Kapellmeister Werner Ofner, ensured the musical framework, which gave the event a festive framework. HBI Horst Haag and treasurer Karoline Haag led through the entire celebration as moderators.

The honor was particularly warm. Raphael Auer, Patrick Schmedler, Christoph Rampetzreiter and Thomas Kneissl were honored for their 25-year loyalty. Peter Haag was honored for impressive 50 years of membership. In addition, Lorenz Eichhöbl and Father Haag received the title Honorary Higher, while Raphael Auer and Dr. Daniel Kombacher was awarded the earnings for her services.
