Sand whisper in Hartberg: Julius Awards honor regional entrepreneurs!

The mood on July 4, 2025 was simply magnificent. The Hartberg-Fürstenfeld business association had invited to the "Sand whisper" event, and the motto of the day was: conversations, fun and good mood. The event, which was organized in close cooperation with the Hartberg municipal council Johannes Strobl, brought together numerous visitors and offered a welcome opportunity to exchange ideas.

Special guests from politics, such as member of the state parliament Luca Geistler and WB Styria director Jochen Pack, were also present, which gave the event additional shine. A Highlight of the day was undoubtedly the ceremony of the Julius Awards.

Julius awards: Recognition for deserved companies

The Julius Awards are characterized by particularly well-deserved companies and are a tribute to Julius Raab, the founding father of the Economic Association, who founded the organization in 1945. During the event, two companies were particularly appreciated: Hochegger Dächer GmbH from Egendendorf near Hartberg and Eurogast Interex from Hartberg. Both companies received the award for their entrepreneurial achievements, their courage as well as their tradition and visions.

A big thank you for the successful organization of the event was available to the WB organization officer Simone Pfeiffer, who actively contributed together with Johannes Strobl and the Vaibz Beach Gastronomen Felix Koller and Michael Maximilian Dumuta.
