On Sunday evening, Styria was hit by violent storms, which were not only characterized by lightning strikes, but also by strong hailsters. In St. Lambrecht, the authorities reported a lightning strike that hit a tree and set it on fire. The fire brigade moved out with 26 emergency services to extinguish the fire, which represents a considerable reaction to the weather chaos. In Bad Aussee, on the other hand, a stream stepped over the bank and moved a street with rubble. Here the fire brigade was also there, removed the decoration and ensured that the road was accessible again.
