The fastest 15 runners from different age groups are used for the points rating. However, it is not the time, but the highest number of points. Only the best seven results flow into the final ranking, which offers additional incentive for the runners to participate.
A special highlight will be the award ceremony of the overall ranking, which takes place on September 18, 2025 in the Landhotel Prielbauer in Mondsee. Also from all starters of the overall ranking are raffled off for goods prices, which makes participation even more attractive for many athletes. Only participants present can benefit from the prices, so a numerous appearance is recommended.
These events and many participants show how high the running sports in Austria are in the course. The most important running events include the Vienna City Marathon, the Vienna Energie Business Run and the Austrian women's run, all of which record over ten thousand participants per event. The Zipfer cross run contributes to the liveliness of this scene and offers a platform for talents to continue to work on their performance.
For runners of all ages, it is clear: The Sport Streicher Running Tour and their events are a magnet for sports enthusiasts and an opportunity to measure themselves in competition.
