In Upper Austria, 137 personalities from the sports system can look forward to a special award. At a solemn ceremony, the state and sports council of Markus Achleitner presented the state sports honor to the honored, who have emerged through their tireless commitment in sport. The silver honor was awarded to Karin Fischbacher from Engerwitzdorf, who has been working in the Upper Austrian Sports since 2003. She is not only a state-certified trainer, but also President of the dance sports trainer association Austria. In addition to Karin, Wolfgang Lehner from Engerwitzdorf was awarded the Gold Denain. Seit 1987 engagiert er sich im Tennissport und verfolgt unter anderem die Rolle des Koordinators beim Linzer Marathon, wie Mein Bezirk ergänzt.

In addition, other sports officials received the honor in silver: Michaela Brixel (Upper Austria Volleyball Association), Simon Moser (Badminton Club Münzkirchen), Erwin (ASVÖ Sportverein Lichtenberg), Alfred Stadlbauer (Askö Kajakverein Donau Linz) and Helmut Staudacher (Askö Treffling). Your achievements in your respective sports testify to a high level of commitment and have a positive effect on sports development in the region.
