Successful drawing seminar in Schärding inspires art lovers!

In the picturesque city of Schärding, an art seminar under the direction of Martin Stauffner took place at the beginning of July, which once again aroused great interest. Organized by Franz Schmid and now in the program since 2007, 14 participants from Upper Austria and Cologne took part in this creative event. The enthusiasm for drawing was noticeable and the artistic level did not leave something to be desired. Particularly gratifying: Mayor Günter Streicher attended the seminar and convinced himself of the high quality of the work that was created in this inspiring environment. As reported [tips] (https://www.tips.at/nachrichten/schaerding/land-leute/690978- successes-sign seminar-in-schaerding), in the morning it was practiced and in the afternoon it went out into the idyllic surroundings of Schärding, where the participants stopped the beauty of the landscape on paper.

A highlight of the seminar was to visit the workplace of the well -known magician and artist Alfred Kubin. There the participants were able to draw in his garden, which was a unique opportunity for many to let their legs and imagination dangle in the creative atmosphere. For the next seminar, which is planned for the first week of 2026, interested parties can already be noted.

With its central location and closeness to gastronomy and sights, the Cubine Hall has also made a name for itself for private celebrations such as weddings and birthday parties. The catering takes place via the tavern to the bums, which ensures that everything fits even in culinary terms. This successful mix of historical flair and modern comfort makes the Cubine hall a sought -after place for many events.

art and culture in the heart of sharp

Young artists and creative people have the opportunity to present their works in the nearby Alfred Kubin Gallery in Wernstein. The gallery offers a place for a variety of techniques, including woodcut, watercolor and ceramics. During a current exhibition, which was opened by the mayors from Wernstein and Neuburg, visitors were able to admire the works of the illustrator Annette Smolka-Woldan. The proceeds from her book "The Little Krampus" benefit from a blind student from the district, which underlines the connection between art and social engagement. More information about the exhibition can be found on MeinDeiten.

With such events and offers, Schärding once again shows that it is not only a baroque city, but is also a living center for art and culture. Artistic work is celebrated and promoted here, which the city significantly enriches.
