The Kulturhof Perg has Grund to celebrate: On June 30, 2025, the facility looks back on ten years full of creative highlights. A special anniversary is in the Mache, which is celebrated with a reinterpretation by William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Julia". This staging is presented in an independent version and brings a breath of fresh air into play by conclusively embodied by the main roles of dancers, while the characters do not speak words. In this way, the connection between drama and dance is deepened in an impressive way. The Kulturhof, founded in 2015, has had a remarkable development. What started as an experiment without a stage and infrastructural basis - only old furniture and a gravel floor to improvise with a first stage design from found materials - has developed into an important cultural site. "The first ticket sales were chaotic, but also a success," says Julia Ribbeck-Dreiling in an interview. Despite the difficult conditions in the first season, which was characterized by Dixiclos and improvised bars, the Kulturhof has the audience: can win inside.

a life project with visions

With over 40 team members, the Kulturhof is more than just a place for performances; He is a life project. The first investments in infrastructure, starting with toilet facilities up to a second event room, have paved the way for artistic development. The combination of acting and dance is clearly the focus here. This connection is particularly noticeable in the current staging.

The anniversary is celebrated with a special anniversary book, but a ceremony is not planned. The team looks with confidence in the future with the desire to expand space through a planned extension. However, the permits for this extension are still pending. "We want to create all-year-old uses and offer even more space for creative ideas," continued Ribbeck-Dreiling.
