Summer campaign in Braunau: Streetwork for young people starts!

Since the beginning of this season, a lot has happened in the field of youth care in Braunau. The newly established Streetwork-Team belongs to the association i.s.i. - initiative social integration. On three afternoons a week, the street workers are active in the Braunau district and are supported by young people between the ages of 12 and 25. The offers are anonymous, free of charge and, above all, voluntarily - a good concept of how many young people confirm.

The team takes care of all concerns and worries that affect this age group and meets in places where young people spend their free time. Parks and skate spaces are not only transformed into meeting points, but also into places of positive encounter. In the summer of 2025, the outdoor program is under the motto "Chill, play, talk-just be" especially in focus.

open afternoons and relaxed meeting points

In July and August, three open afternoons are planned in Altheim, Braunau and Mattighofen. These meetings are an invitation to all young people to come together, relax and make new contacts. The public places are designed with pavilions, deckchairs, music and various games.

The activities include not only giant chess and badminth, but also board and board games. It is about creating meeting rooms where young people feel good and simply "be". This initiative offers a welcome change in the everyday life of many young people and promotes social integration.

midnight sport as an additional highlight

Another exciting offer for the youth in the region is the midnight sport Open Air , which takes place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the sports grounds at TV 1848 in Coburg. Here young people between the ages of 12 and 27 are invited to do sports.

The program includes various activities such as football, volleyball, table tennis and even a gymnast of Warrior course. A great opportunity not only to be active, but also to find new friends. And the best thing about it: participation takes place without registration, you just have to get there. Snacks and non -alcoholic drinks are also available - so ideal for a sociable evening!

Overall, the region shows with these initiatives that it attaches great importance to promoting youth. With a diverse offer, not only leisure activities are enriched, but also an important contribution to social integration.
