Mattersburg Apprentice Raphael Simon wins car national championship!
Mattersburg, Österreich - The State Car Technology Championship, which recently took place in the Pinkafeld vocational school, has produced some remarkable talents from Burgenland. Eight dedicated apprentices demonstrated their skills, with the victory to go to Raphael Simon from Mattersburg this year. It is in the teaching company of Wohlfarth Motor Votual Technology GmbH and will represent Burgenland in the upcoming federal apprentice competition on September 18 and 19 in Carinthia.
an exciting competition
The competition included a total of nine stations, which were supplemented by a specialist scene test. State guild master Manfred Beck praised the commitment and achievements of the apprentices, who secure the future of craft with their commitment. "They showed what they are made of," said Beck at the end of the competition. The talented Lena Iby from Neckenmarkt, who learns from Denzel Motorfahrzeiten GmbH, landed in second place. Close followed by Ralph Ringbauer from Siget in the Wart, who completed the podium in third place and his training at the company P.R.T. KG completed in Oberwart.
Success in the craft
But not only the vehicle technicians were in the spotlight, but also the body farm technicians from the fourth year of his apprenticeship competed against each other in Mattersburg. In this competition, Marvin Loibl (Walter Joszt, Steinberg-Dörfl) was the radiant winner. Bastian Jöstl (Autohaus Moser GmbH, Gols) and Diego Balga (Autohaus Autohaus Karosserie- und Lackcenter GmbH, Neusiedl/See) secured second place. Master guild Josef Wiener emphasized the relevance of such events for the training and thus for a successful career in the craft.
The way to the future
Training as a technician in motor vehicle technology is more important than ever, especially with regard to the constant further developments in the automotive sector. Technicians are not only responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles, but also for understanding complex systems such as engines, driven and electrical systems. The training usually takes four years and requires a good technical understanding and manual skill. Graduates can then work in a variety of areas, from factory and vehicle production to customer advice and project management.
The image of the profession has changed further due to the increasing complexity of the vehicles, which means that the trainees also learn valuable skills in the areas of diagnostic technology and customer service. Characterized by permanent further training, the freshly baked technicians can find their place both as a diagnostic technician and in various other functions.
Overall, the competition not only shows the skills of the young talents, but also how crucial a qualified training for the future of the industry is. Both the participants of the vehicle technology and body car artists have impressively demonstrated that the craft in Burgenland is alive and offers excellent perspectives.
For those who want to start in these professions, there is the opportunity to take part in such competitions - the best preparation to be successful at work and maybe soon be able to shine on large stages.
Now it is hoped that Raphael Simon and Lena Iby can also celebrate great success in the Federal Approach Comparative Competition!
