The newly designed permanent exhibition "Vienna. This exhibition marks 80 years after the liberation of Vienna and addresses cultural life in the post -war period, which, despite destruction and housing shortage, experienced a new upswing. Here it becomes clear how Vienna was able to reinvent after the horrors of the Second World War.

In addition to the main exhibition, the Pratermuseum was opened as a branch of the Vienna Museum. This museum takes a close look at the over 250-year history of the sausage praternity and tells them through historical objects, including Kasperl figures, models and early slot machines.
