Tristan Ceselkovkski: Young football talent between Simmering and San Marino

Simmering, Österreich - Tristan Ceselkovkski had already developed a passion at the age of 17 that amazes many. The young Simmeringer is not only an active member of the Yellowstar Simmering team, but also a driving force within San Marino's fishing group. He found his way to football at the age of just 14 when he saw his first game of San Marino-and that ended with a 1: 4 defeat against Kosovo. But instead of being discouraged, this experience sparked his enthusiasm for the team, which has never let go of him since then. Since then he has not missed a single game by San Marino, even if there are about 850 kilometers between Simmering and the small country on the Adriatic, Meinzirk.at.

Ceselkovkski’s commitment goes beyond mere firing. He is not only indoor spokesman for Yellowstar Simmering, but also takes care of the club newspaper, which he modernized with new pictures and a simpler language. "Tristan has a good hand for reaching the fans," says Robert Kovanda, the association's chairman. Ceselkovkski is particularly proud of the order, which he received from San Marino's consul for his commitment. This not only shows his devotion, but also how much he lives and breathes the fan community.

an international network

Tristan is also a member of the fan group "Brigata Mai 1 Gioia", which consists of Italian and international fans - and finds that despite the geographical distance, a strong community has arisen. The fan group of San Marino grew considerably over the years, also thanks to its personal commitment. The way to the games often leads him alone to Bologna or was accompanied by his father, who supported him in his first home game in Serravalle in 2023. The football experience becomes a social event for him where joy and cohesion can be experienced best.

But the state reality of Sanmarinese football is not rosy: San Marino has only won three victories since existed and regularly experiences defeats, as has recently also against Cyprus and Bosnia. Nevertheless, Ceselkovkski does not only see the fascination of football in the success. "The passion for sport and belonging to the community make everything out," he notes. He is particularly looking forward to the upcoming game between San Marino and Austria, always with the hope of a goal for his favorite team.

football as a community experience

football has a special position in society because it combines people of different social classes. Whether workers or university professors, in the stadium everyone will find a common denominator. Events like this are not only sporting events, but also cultural and social experiences that go far beyond the game. This is particularly evident through the commitment of young people such as Tristan and the exchange of fans, who comes alive in a respectful way of dealing and active support.

In times when the professionalization and commercialization of football often leads to a distance between fans and players, the emotional bond remains strong. Football is not just a sport, but a valve for everyday frustrations and challenges for many - a lesson in social interaction and dealing with joy and disappointment.

Tristan Ceselkovkski is a remarkable example of how personal and connecting football can be, and gives many hope that the next game of San Marino could open a positive chapter in their history.
