In the heart of Vienna on the Prater, a new chapter in the area of ​​sustainable urban development is opened. In the course of the renovation, the building structure of the building is retained, while other parts are completely gutted. With the help of environmentally friendly technologies, the hotel's energy supply is ensured: the heating and cooling are carried out by groundwater, and a photovoltaic system on the roof generates the required electricity. The renowned architecture firm Atelier is responsible for planning the hotel. The project was awarded the Climate Aktiv Gold Certificate in the planning phase, which meets the highest demands on energy efficiency, choice of materials and spatial health.
