Vienna rolls out for sure: 450 ads with large e-scooter control!

In the pulsating capital of Vienna, a security eye was thrown on e-scooter traffic on June 26, 2025. As part of the traffic focus control of the Vienna State Police Directorate, under the roof of the "Vienna rolls safely" campaign, more than 450 advertisements were filed. As 5min , 225 advertisements were noted for exceeding speeds, and almost 50 of them concern e-scooter.

Especially among the e-scooter drivers, things got down to business: Four drivers accelerated their scooters at speeds between 41 and 47 km/h, while a top speed of 25 km/h is allowed. A total of 104 organ mandates were granted, including 35 for e-scooter and e-scooter drivers. Alcohol and addictive substances also played a role with six ads, four of which went against e-scooter drivers. In addition, driver's licenses and license plates were taken away, which shows that no fun is understood here.
