Lienz, Österreich - The city of Lienz in East Tyrol is preparing for a rousing event: The summer festival will delight its visitors from August 8 to 10, 2025 with a colorful mix of joie de vivre and musical highlights. After a successful premiere last year, the second edition of the festival will be even greater and more varied under the motto "Zomm Surrent, Zuhaorchn, Zomm Feian". This year, 28 local clubs agreed to take part in the summer festival, which is four more than in the previous year. A total of 40 clubs have expressed their interest, the selection was made primarily because of the youth work.

The musical program will extend over 62 acts that operate a variety of genres. There is something for every taste from brass music to rock to Latin and singer-songwriter melodies. Particularly gratifying: Among the live acts are also represented by some domestic bands that will enliven the stage and present fresh sounds to the audience. Special highlights are the appearances of Emely Myles and Ivano Albano, whose music will heat the mood.

A new location is the Erlach car park, where DJs will provide the best entertainment every hour. Another highlight of the summer festival is the glusce woodpecker, which is available for 33 euros. This allows visitors to taste nine small dishes at different stands. The 28 participating clubs will not only offer traditional delicacies, but also present new, creative delicacies. The culinary diversity ranges from hearty dishes to vegetarian options to sweet treats, which makes the festival a real land of milk and honey for every palate.

For the little festival visitors there is an extensive children's program in the monastery garden as well as an Acoustic Zone and DJ area in the Electronic Zone. Thus there is the right offer for every age group to celebrate together and enjoy the lightness of the summer season.
