Children programmed robots: Holidays in Wörgl and Kufstein full of fun!

Kufstein, Österreich - In the past few days, the Kufstein region has been a hotspot for young technology enthusiasts. During the Coding4kids camp, which took place from July 7th to 11th, 36 children aged 10 to 14 years were able to demonstrate their creative skills in the field of robotics and programming. The free summer camps in Wörgl and Kufstein were aimed at Kids technology -savvy, which had the opportunity to playfully become creative here.

Under expert guidance, the participants built their own LEGO robots and programmed them in order to master different tasks independently, such as executing movements or identifying obstacles. The basics of the microprocessors were also learned in the group and their own projects with small boards were developed. Thanks to a maximum group size of twelve participants, individual support could be ensured, which made the learning experience particularly intensive. This initiative was supported by regional partners such as Kufgem, Stadtwerke Kufstein, Kufstein Chamber of Commerce, City of Wörgl and the Kuusk regional management. Funding on the part of the federal, state of Tyrol and the EU also facilitated the implementation of the camp, as _meinzirk.at_ reported that numerous children and their parents were very positive about the events.

insight into the offer

The camps not only included robotic programming, but also fun and community. The aim was to inspire the children for the MINT subjects (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, technology) and at the same time to make new friendships. Similar to this, the Coding4KIDS website offers a wide range of activities, including programming your own video games with the Scratch platform and the introduction to internet programming. Their approach shows that learning fun and community are in the top priority, as can be read on _coding4kids.it_

The desire for further promotion of such camps is high. Project manager Carina Berger expressed the wish to offer new camps in the coming year. Parents and children agree: the enthusiasm for programming and robotics should be further strengthened.

venues and possibilities

The Coding4kids camps are not the only ones of their kind in the region. Robomaniac also offers a wide range of programming courses, workshops and holiday camps for children and young people. A wide range of topics should not be missing here, ranging from Clean-Energy to autonomous driving to artificial intelligence. Even online courses are on offer to achieve children and adolescents in German-speaking countries, as _robomaniac.at_ emphasizes.

summarized the Coding4kids camp in Kufstein and Wörgl and is an important step towards promoting young talents in the digital world. The dazzling world of technology becomes tangible for the next generation, and who knows, maybe the future inventor or programmer can be found among the participants?
