Hermann Neubauer starts with Eco Fuel at Rallye Weiz 2025!
Weiz, Österreich - Today, on July 17, 2025, everything revolves around Hermann Neubauer in Weiz. The rally epilot occurs to contest its "home rally", with a very special focus-the use of sustainable fuel. Neubauer will start with a Toyota Yaris for ZM Racing and for the first time rely on "Eco Fuel", a fuel that relies on environmental friendliness and is in harmony with the latest developments in motorsport. For him, the rally Weiz is not only a sporting challenge, but also a sign of the future of motorsport.
The event begins today and promises exciting competitive campaigns. Neubauer took second place at the Murtal Rallye six weeks ago and started with the ambitious goal of ending at least on the podium after he was able to win five victories in earlier editions of the Rallye Weiz. A high starting field that gathered the best drivers does not provide him with an easy task. In Weiz he will have to demonstrate his skills on the demanding "Alpenfahrt" partitions that are particularly challenging.
Neubauer's track record in Weiz
Already in 2022 Hermann Neubauer was able to win the Rallye Weiz for himself, even though the competition was strong. At that time he prevailed in the Ford Fiesta Rally2 and secured first place with an impressive lead of over a minute on the second -placed Adam Brezik, who was traveling in the Skoda Fabia R5. Neubauer scored a total of four victory points in the Rally Weiz and took the first position with a total time of 1: 19: 09.3 hours. sustainability in motorsport
The focus on sustainable fuels is not only important for new builders, but also reflects a larger trend in motorsport. In 2022, the Rally World Championship (WRC) took the first step into a more environmentally friendly future by introducing hybrid engines and introducing 100 percent sustainable fuel for petrol engines. According to Motorsport.com , a three-year contract was concluded with P1 Racing fuels, CO2 emissions to reduce constant performance.
All of these developments make it clear that motorsport is indeed on the right track in order to become more environmentally friendly. Hermann Neubauer not only uses the rally Weiz to show his driving skills, but also to send a message for sustainable motorsport. How the situation will develop remains to be seen, but the excitement and anticipation are already tangible!
