The brass music in Austria

The tradition of brass music plays an important role in Austria. According to Austria-forum.org it varies from art music to military music to popular brass band chapels. In Austria there are around 2000 brass music bands organized in the "Austrian brass music association" and are committed to promoting young talents. The promotion of young musicians is considered essential by Kapellmeister Georg Laller: "We have to offer you the best ways to live out your passion."
