Moving summer: Experience action and fun at the Mühlner swimming lake!

In Murau something is happening! On July 26, 2025, the Mühlner swimming lake became the setting for the event “Your Moving Summer”, which is organized by the movement revolution. The event starts from 10:00 a.m. and has set itself an exciting goal: the visitors: inside should be stimulated for more movement. Whether young or old, there is something for everyone. Entry to all activities is free of charge, which is certainly well received by the domestic families.

Games, sports equipment and lots of fun await in a white-pink tour bus, powered by Ford Reisinger, on being discovered. Expert trainers: inside are on site and give valuable tips on how everyone can discover the joy of movement for themselves. The highlight of the event will be the creation of the table tennis emperor who will achieve the best performance in table tennis.

But that's not all! "Your moving summer" is part of a larger tour of Styria, which not only stops in Murau. Other stations include the municipal bath in Leibnitz on July 25th and the outdoor pool Judenburg in the Mur Valley on July 27th. The tour continues to the first week of August, with other exciting locations in Southeast Styria, Hartberg-Fürstenfeld and Weiz. Overall, the initiative offers numerous day challenges, such as air mattress races and a Boccia tournament.

For modern treasure hunters there is also a digital activity option. With a special app, the participants can do a stamp hunting inside that comprises various hiking destinations of the Tour de Styria and offers a completely new adventure in cooperation with geocaching.

This initiative is part of the Styria program, which has existed since 2011 and cooperates with the sports roof associations ASSKÖ, ASVÖ and Sportunion as well as the Styria Education Directorate. It has set itself the goal of motivating the population to move and promoting enthusiasm for sport.
