New boutique hotel Mikeli opens doors for Hartberg's future!
Hartberg, Österreich - In Hartberg something is happening! The official opening of the construction site for the newly planned "Mikeli" boutique hotel recently took place and promises to become an exciting project in the city. The project aims to create an adventure room with a focus on modern welcome culture and a conscious lifestyle. At the presentation by Laura Sophie Wannemacher from Sofresh Touristik and the project team, Mayor Marcus Martschitsch as well as numerous community representatives and downtown traders were present who showed great interest in this new chapter for Hartberg.
The "Mikeli" will be built in a historic building from the second half of the 19th century, which was previously known as König bakery. Interestingly, the conversion places great emphasis on preserving the existing building fabric, which underlines the successful connection between tradition and future in the architecture of the hotel. A green oasis is also planned between the old and new building, which should serve as a relaxed retreat. M&S architects are responsible for the outer architecture, while Derenko takes over the interior design.
a concept with local flair
The gastronomic concept of the "Mikeli" relies on biological-regional products and includes a unique breakfast offer and a so-called "Honesty Bar". In addition, close cooperation with the city of Hartberg is planned to hold seminars and offer an exclusive wedding offer with buyout option. The hotel will offer over 40 high -quality rooms and is located on the part of Ringana Holding GmbH, which realizes the project, in an investment volume in the high eight -east area. The operational company will be carried out by SoFresh Touristik GmbH, without external investments, and around five employees will be responsible for the hotel administration.
While the final planning is currently underway, demolition work is planned from July 2025, followed by the trades of the trades in autumn 2025. An opening of the boutique hotel is planned for the end of 2026. The city of Hartberg is happy about this development, since Boutique Hotels not only enrich the townscape, but can also give an important economic impulse.
