Kiel, Deutschland - In Schleswig-Holstein something happens: The Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival opened its doors on July 10, 2025. At the center of these musical festivities is the outstanding Turkish pianist Fazıl Say, who has made a name for himself for his diverse performances. As reported kn-online.de, Say already entered the Nikolaikirche in Plön Rendsburg and provided goosebumps with his interpretation of Mozart's A major piano concerto.

Say's artistic approach is clear: he wants to “play the piano with soul and head”, which is clearly reflected in his musical style. The pianist, who is considered one of the most important artists in Türkiye, shows in his program that music is not only an art form, but also beats a bridge between different cultures and traditions. In the coming weeks, Say will rock the stage at 15 other concerts.

His appearance at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival is part of an extensive program that includes a total of 17 concerts. A highlight are the chamber music evenings in which Say will present works by Schumann, Mozart and Poulenc with renowned artists such as Asya Fateyeva, Sabine Meyer and the Goldmund Quartet.
