Rohrbach, Deutschland - Today, on July 12, 2025, there are gratifying news from Rohrbach in the Saarpfalz district: The renovation work at the roundabout on the L 119 has been completed early due to the favorable weather conditions. According to Saarland.de , the full closure of the roundabout is canceled today. The construction work that was carried out from July 7th to 13th, 2025 concerned the entire roundabout and adjacent junctions.
The extensive renovation measures could only be carried out under full closure. This was necessary for traffic, occupational safety law and structural reasons. During the work, the passage on the L 119 was not possible from Rohrbach to Kirkel and vice versa. Nevertheless, an access to important facilities such as the Festo plant over an existing emergency drive from Rohrbach's direction remained, while the access to the Spirit Kircher Straße industrial area was possible from the direction of Kirkel, but was regulated here by a light signal system.
