Kick-ak Summer League: Quarter-final teams are certain!

Ried im Innkreis, Österreich - What's in Ried? The Kick-Ak-Summer League, which opened its goals last weekend, is in full swing! With eight groups and a total of 24 teams in which each group winner moves into the quarter -finals, the tournament is a real spectacle for the region's football fans. Five quarter -finalists were already on Friday and the last three places were awarded on Saturday. Around 250 spectators are excited about the exciting match between FC Andorf and Union Diersbach, which ended in a gripping penalty shootout. The number of spectators shows that the enthusiasm for local football is unbroken.

A look at the group placements reveals some surprising twists. In group 1, FC Andorf prevailed against Union Diersbach and Union Rainbach. In group 4, UFC PTA Peterskirchen shone, where a newcomer called Manuel Zeppetzauer scored his first goal - a moment that was celebrated with the pleasure of around 200 fans.

The air is now getting thinner: the group games are over and the quarter -finals were announced. These matches promise high drama and exciting encounters:

• Thursday, July 17, 6:30 p.m.: Peterskirchen vs. Pattigham
• Friday, July 18, 6 p.m.: Taufkirchen vs. Lambrechten
• Saturday, July 19, 6 p.m.: Utzenaich/Antiesenhofen vs. Andorf and Riedau vs. St. Marienkirchen

The semi -finals take place on July 22nd and 23rd in Lambrechten before the grand finale promises highlights on July 26th.
