Eveline Grabmann remains chairwoman of the WKO Perg: Future Vision for the district!

The Perger Chamber of Commerce has reason to be happy: Eveline Grabmann was confirmed at the constituent meeting of the district office committee of the WKO Perg for another term of office as a chairwoman. The 49-year-old managing director of the BS Grabmann GmbH specializing in windows, doors and sun protection has been a strong voice for the regional economy for several years. Your company has over 50 employees and she has been at the head of the Perger business agency since 2024.

In her term in office, Grabmann has already launched numerous initiatives. It was and is active in the Upper Austria specialist group committee. Building materials, iron and wood trading and has been taking over the office of deputy chairpersons at "Ms. in the Economy Perg" since 2015. Grabmann has not only integrated the industry representatives in the region, but also built a network that promotes mutual exchange.

Grabmann looks optimistic into the future and is convinced that the district of Perg is the strongest employer district in the Mühlviertel. "There is a diverse operating structure here," says Grabmann. Currently 16,488 employees are active in the district at 1,132 commercial business locations. With a total of 4,798 members of the WKO, the number of companies is growing steadily. The past ten years have shown that the number of members has increased by almost a third to 5,000 companies, whereby the local tax revenue even doubled during this period.

in 2024 243 new foundations were recorded in the district, including 53, which means a significant increase compared to the previous year. Grabmann wants to further develop the region as an attractive business location and is aware of the importance of a modern infrastructure. In particular, it calls for investments in energy supply and the upgrading of the substation, especially in its home community Baumgartenberg.

A central point in your agenda is also the skilled worker and apprenticeship security. Grabmann plans to support the "OÖ Job Week" from March 18 to 22, at which companies provide interested parties into their way of working. A “getting to know each other” by the district is also planned to invite companies to a network evening and promote the exchange. In addition, there are events on digitization and artificial intelligence on the agenda that should help companies to remain future fit.

The new Danube bridge in Mauthausen is emphasized by Grabmann as essential for companies and commuters. "We need good framework conditions so that our companies are still successful," she emphasizes. In addition to Grabmann, other members were elected in the district office committee by 2030, including Karl Fürholzer, Sonja Haunschmid-Fuchs and Christoph Merckens. Alfred Pösenberger, who moved up, will also represent the interests of the Economics Association in the committee.

Grabmann also relies on a respectful and constructive cooperation in the committee, has great ambitions to shape the region together with its colleagues.
