Huge fun at the MCL 68 summer festival: rally fans in the frenzy of speed!

On Saturday, July 5th, the WRT Ring in Hollabrunn was again the scene of an exciting summer festival of the MCL 68 rally club. As part of this event, the NO RoadRunning project was launched together with the partner club Easy Drivers. A complete success that not only attracted the motorsport enthusiasts, but also appealed to numerous newcomers.

The participants were able to immerse themselves in the heart of the rally. "We offer boys, motorsport fellow people the opportunity to live out their hobby safely and legally," said Georg Gschwandner, who gave a lecture on the safety equipment of the vehicles. There were also topics such as the roll cage and multi -point belts on the agenda. The visitors were also chauffeured by the experienced rally drivers Tobias Reischer and Andreas Hubmer in Rallyevolvos on a gravel circuit and learned first -hand as it is to legally test the limits of a vehicle.

practical experience in rallying

The highlight of the event was certainly the opportunity for the participants to get behind the wheel themselves and to sniff "rally air". The instructions for creating a six -point belt and the seat setting by the helpers of the MCL 68 were particularly valuable for the first steps in motorsport. "That was my first time in the rally car, and it was absolutely exciting!"

After each round, the participants were able to exchange their experiences in box discussions with driving instructor Sylvia Zabel. In addition, international rally drivers of the MCL 68 were ready for questions. The meals were not neglected either: the team from Easy Drivers from Berndorf/Bad Vöslau took care of the physical well -being of the guests, so that everyone stayed until after midnight to chat about the exciting rally life.

no Roadrunning project and other highlights

The No Roadrunning Project, which was launched by Easy Drivers, aims to give young people the opportunity to experience rallying days away from public road traffic. Soon it will continue with the next rallying day, which is already well booked. Tobias Reischer, driving instructor and now also rally drivers, has just made his debut at the Murtal Rally 2025 and hopes for a podium in the annual evaluation of the juniors.

The project is supplemented by logistical support, including practical and theory seminars as well as cheap rental rallyvolvos. "We would like to create a good offer that is also safe," said Reischer about the challenges that are important to master the organization.

In the world of rally, as it takes place under the roof of the DMSB, this is becoming increasingly important. The participants are facing various specification tests over several stages, and the teams follow the principle of individual time trials, whereby the driver and his co-pilot work closely together.

The event in Hollabrunn once again shows that motorsport is not only intended for professionals. With events like this, the clubs can win new members and at the same time increase enthusiasm for rallying in the region. A big thank you goes to all supporters, especially Advancis Austria, who helped to cover the costs of the route.
