Successful entrepreneurs in Carinthia: Teaching as a key to success!

Wolfsberg, Österreich - In Carinthia, the campaign "G’ Lert is well learned" runs in full swing, which was launched by the initiative "Frau in the Carinthia Economic Affairs". The aim is to present entrepreneurial role models and show how successful apprenticeships can be. In the Wolfsberg district in particular, people like Sandra Petschenig show who has been running the jewelry business "Watches & Schmuck Weisshaupt" since 2019 how the path from training can look to independence. Petschenig emphasizes how important a well -founded teaching is and encourages young people to make their career choice with passion and gut feeling.

The initiative not only focuses on entrepreneurs, but also teaching companies that offer young people valuable perspectives. A good example is the fashion and gift house "J.M. Offner", which trains prospective fashion consultants. Managing Director Christina Kulterer emphasizes that the connection between theory and practice in dual training is indispensable. This can also be seen in the additional training courses on personal development, which are provided as part of the "Heart Beat" initiative.

opportunities in craft

It becomes particularly exciting when you take a look at the training in the craft. Maria Richter and Lilly Ortner learn the profession of harmonica in Bad St. Leonhard in Bad St. Leonhard. Maria, who chose this training out of love for the craft, is already in the third year of apprenticeship, while Lilly discovered work with various materials in the second year. Both emphasize the fun of their job and the numerous options that the craft offers.

shortage of skilled workers and future prospects

The campaign "G’ Lert is well learned" not only reacts to the enthusiasm for apprenticeships, but also contributes to counteracting the objectioning shortage of skilled workers. As BMAS emphasizes, the challenges on the labor market are diverse. Future bottlenecks through demographic changes and structural change in various industries require innovative approaches to securing skilled workers. The dual training could make a decisive contribution to closing the gap in qualified specialists.

In Carinthia, only a third of the 15-year-olds have decided to teach. The campaign would like to change the image of teaching as an opportunity and show young people paths that can lead to a successful future. Through the presentation of successful entrepreneurs from trade, tourism and trade, Role models are to be created who act as role models and bring both women and young people closer to different educational paths.

For interested entrepreneurs who want to share their stories or want to offer Motivation for potential apprentices, Tanja Telesklav is available at the address tanja.telesklav@wkk.or. This initiative is a step in the right direction to position economic thinking and female entrepreneurship among young people and thus actively contribute to strengthening future skilled workers in Carinthia.

The picture that emerges here is promising. The challenges of desperation market can be mastered with commitment and passion, while at the same time the female entrepreneurship is anchored in society. A positive example of this is clearly the campaign "learned is well learned", which proves that teaching can not only be an apprenticeship, but also the first step into an exciting professional future.
