New cooperation: University and Raiffeisenlandesbank put in practice!

A new era of practical training is heralded in Burgenland: the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences and Raiffeisenlandesbank Burgenland have created a cooperation that aims to provide students with valuable insights into the economic processes of the region. The partnership, which is initially planned for one year, focuses on innovative projects as well as practice -oriented theses and ideas competitions. The aim is to link the theoretical knowledge of the students with practical experience and to create a direct connection to the regional economy. This is reported by the Kurier .

Eva Fugger, the deputy general director of the Raiffeisenlandesbank, emphasizes how important it is to inspire young people for economic relationships. The managing director of Burgenland University, Georg Pehm, emphasizes that this cooperation also offers the opportunity to get to know potential employers at an early stage. The first steps are already underway: The “Changemaker” program took place at the Eisenstadt campus, in which 26 children sold various products and learned how to deal with money at the Raiffeisen bank switch. Over 250 children of the children's university took part in this practice.

a new registration record

In the middle of these positive developments, the Joseph Haydn Privathochschule Burgenland (JHP) can come up with a new registration record. With 256 applications for the coming academic year, the university of Managing Director Franz Steindl will be presented as very attractive for future students. "We have a lot of qualified applicants on the waiting list," he reports. The final application deadline ends on July 31, and the demand remains high, which underlines the attraction of the institution, as well as the BVZ emphasized.

national dimensions of university formation

The current developments in Burgenland do not tear off, against the background of a changing university system in Europe. More and more German universities are committed to international cooperation to further expand their range of courses. Transnational education (TNB) is becoming increasingly important. At this point it becomes clear how important it is that universities such as those in Burgenland consolidate their international relationships and maintain a high standard. The code for German university projects abroad can offer an important orientation, but also for domestic institutions, such standards are trend -setting in order to survive in the global educational competition.
