Güssing, Österreich - Last weekend, the exciting national competitions of the fire brigade youth took place in Güssing, where over 1,400 young fire brigade members from all over Burgenland demonstrated their skills. With 251 competition groups, the event, which took place on July 4 and 5, 2025, was a great success and a real festival for the community. The young people, between 10 and 16, not only showed skill in the competitions, but also team spirit and commitment.

The spectators came in droves to follow the exciting competitions. These developments show that the fire brigade youth is closely linked to the education and not only value physical fitness.
