Creative heads wanted: Children produce radio play in the district museum!

In the district of Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus, creative children between the ages of 8 and 10 can look forward to an exciting adventure. On July 30th and 31st, a free workshop will take place in the district museum, which offers small participants the opportunity to design their own radio play. Under the motto "School of Magic Tones", the kids learn how to tell stories, create noises and build a scene. The experienced radio play director Balthasar from Weymarn and the spokeswoman Judith Pap, who together will give the children valuable tips, take on the instructions. The workshop participants will be involved in creative tasks for a total of eight hours on both days. On the first day, which takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the children learn the basics of a radio play. They deal with the scene structure, noise production and the development of their script ideas. In addition, there is a role division so that everyone knows which task is playing in the radio play. On August 1, the finished radio play will be presented in a solemn setting. On this occasion, the young talents can present their work in front of an audience. Participation in the workshop is free, but there are only ten places, which is why interested parties should register quickly. In addition to this workshop, there are many other options for children to deal with media creatively. The Euro Academy indicates that media projects such as radio play productions are also offered for schools and clubs. These projects want to promote the media literacy of the participants and enable children to realize their own ideas.
