New FPÖ regional manager Winder wants to strengthen the proximity to the citizen!

The freedoms in Vorarlberg have a new man at the head of her state office: Stephan Winder, 45 years old and born in Bürs, takes over the business of Dominik Hagen. This switched to the state governor's office and party leader Christof Bitschi in early June. Winder brings a breath of fresh air and new ideas after he has participated in the state office of the Vorarlberg Freedom since November 2022. It is particularly noteworthy that he has proven itself in the past municipal election campaign in the spring of 2025, which now enables him to promote the new position. Further details about his career are that he worked for 14 years in marketing a gastro and leisure center in Bludenz, which is not exactly the worst experience for his new role.

Winder himself has set clear goals. He wants to focus on direct contact with people and sees itself as a link between the population, FPÖ officials and state politics. This could prove to be particularly important, since the FPÖ is currently busy consolidating its place in Vorarlberg politics. A look at the challenges shows that the SPÖ Vorarlberg is currently still looking for a new managing director after Klaus Gasser lost his job due to defects in the examination of the funding conditions by the State Audit Office. The interim management of the SPÖ office is now in the hands of Jeannette Greiter.

thanks to Dominik Hagen

The freedom -related views gratefully back to the time with Dominik Hagen, whose contributions to the positive development of the Vorarlberg FPÖ are recognized. His move to the office of state governor Christof Bitschi is certainly an important step for the party, since Hagen is now working as a personal speaker in the state government. The question remains how the restructuring will affect the political landscape of Vorarlberg.

Such changes in personnel are always associated with excitement and offer new opportunities. Winder has the opportunity to bring a breath of fresh air to the party and to strengthen contact with the electorate. The next steps and decisions could clarify which direction the FPÖ will take under his leadership.

In the meantime, the SPÖ is waiting to complete its own reorganization and appoint a new managing director. After a turbulent start to the year, it is now time for all political actors in Vorarlberg.
