The route comprises a total of 2060 vertical meters uphill and 3120 meters downhill, spread over seven stages that are well suited for day hikes.   • stage 1: Formarinsee - Lech am Arlberg, 14.4 km, approx. 5 hours, medium.
  • stage 2: lech am Arlberg - Lechleithen, 14.2 km, approx. 5 hours, medium.
  • stage 3: lechleithen - Holzgau, 15.4 km, approx. 6 hours, medium.
  • stage 4: Holzgau - Elbigenalp, 13.4 km, approx. 5 hours, medium.
  • stage 5: Elbigenalp - Stanzach, 19.7 km, approx. 7:30 hours, light.
