New jazz power plant: Roberto Bossard and band inspire in Achenkirch!

A fresh breeze blows through the jazz scene, and this is due to the new formation of Roberto Bossard. The Swiss guitarist has taken up the musical thread again after a 20-year creative break and proudly presents its new jazz band, which not only consists of talented musicians, but can also come up with innovative own compositions and creative arrangements. This musical curiosity comes into its own on June 14, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. in the old Widum Achenkirch.

The band is supported by five experienced musicians who have established themselves in the jazz landscape. There is almost 40-year-old veteran Roberto Bossard on the guitar who understands his craft like no other. At his side, Toni Bechtold, a technically flawless saxophonist with a musical depth. Lukas Gernet, who has found his musical identity in improvisation, inspires the piano. Raffaele Bossard, who conjures up moody sounds on the double bass, tours all over Europe and plays with well -known jazz greats. The Dominic Egli ensemble is rounded off, which has already won numerous prizes and has played with many well -known musicians.

a harmonious interaction

The interaction of the band members promises a harmonious and creative sound that should inspire both jazz lovers and newcomers. The band is intensive on tour in Germany, Belgium, Holland, Austria, Slovakia, England, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland and has thus taken an important point of view in the European jazz scene. They did a good business because it quickly made a name for herself.

Roberto Bossard, who is a lecturer at the jazz department of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences, has had jazz guitar under control for almost four decades and thus a lot of experience. It is not without reason that all band members are highly regarded in the Swiss music scene and each bring their own grade into the group, which leads to a multi -layered sound that is very popular with the audience. The groovy piano game by Lukas Gernet gives the pieces a special touch, while Raffaele Bossard laid a safe foundation on the bass.
