The playing fields are ready again because the preparation of the HLA clubs in Austria for the new season has started. After an exciting year full of duels and gripping games, it is now time for the teams to prepare intensively for the upcoming challenges. The first three clubs have already started their training sessions, while nine other clubs will follow in the coming week. The anticipation among fans and players is particularly noticeable, while everyone is waiting for the starting shot of the new season. Handball-World reports that the teams come up with different preparatory programs that include both training camps and friendly games.

The Förthof UHK Krems started on July 17, 2025. Your preparatory program provides exciting encounters: On August 6, you compete with the handball sports union Leoben, followed by another test game against UHC Hollabrunn on August 8. The highlight will be the Kenik Cup in Brno, which takes place from August 15th to 17th. On August 28, the duel against HC Fivers Wat Margareten in Vienna. With this multitude of games, the Kremsers want to prepare for the coming season.

The preparation program of the HLA clubs

The preparations of the other clubs are also promising. The Alpla HC Hard starts its training on July 21, 2025 and has planned several friendly games, including the Alpla Sommercup on August 1 and 2, as well as matches against HC Kriens Lucerne and GC Amicitia Zurich.

• Bt Füchse Auto Pichler: Start of training on July 23, 2025. The foxes compete against RK Krsko in Slovenia and HC Linz AG.
• HC Fivers Wat Margareten: Start on July 21, 2025 with team building and training camp, followed by a tournament in Zurbri.

Another highlight offers the Sparkasse Schwaz Handball Tirol, which starts training on July 19, 2025. Here a test game against HT Munich is particularly worth mentioning on July 25th. The other clubs are also not inactive: HC Linz AG coaches from July 23 and will hold a training camp in Nove Veseli, while the Roomz Jags Vöslau start training on July 21st to test their shape in various tournaments.
