"Virtual Wind" brings the audience into an artistic beach setting, where they can observe the movements of two parasols. This moves in real time according to the share prices of fossil raw material companies such as Shell, BP and Exxonmobil. A mini-computer controls a total of 16 electric motors, which are influenced by the so-called "Reserve Replacement Ratio" (RRR). The installation impressively illustrates how economic interests influence the environment and how climate change changes our weather phenomena.
