Art sensation in Kufstein: Silent Reserves until July 11th!
In the city gallery Dialog in Kufstein, the exhibition "Silent Reserves" by the Tyrolean artist Alois Schild opened on June 21, 2025. With this single exhibition, the 1960 vintage brings a fresh wind to the local art scene. The opening took place in a solemn framework and was carried out by Dr. Hannah Stegmayer, the former chairman of the Rosenheim Art Association, recognized with a laudation. Until July 11, 2025, art lovers can visit this unique exhibition.
The concept of the exhibition reflects the idea of a “storage chamber” of contemporary art and uses the striking building of the gallery as a backdrop. A special attraction are the upright black toy cars, which show a quote from the Black Mander at the grave of Emperor Maximilian I in Innsbruck. This sculpture establishes an exciting connection to the Tyrolean culture and ensures conversation among visitors.
creative connections and influences
The exhibition has the title "Silent Reserves (artful semi-detached house)" and alludes to the record "Half double album" by the late Tyrolean musician Werner Pirchner. This allusion illustrates the linking of visual art and music, which particularly appeals to visitors. “Silent reserves” aims to honor the critical-constructive tradition of the Tyrolean artists and to set contemporary impulses.
Siggi Haider, a sound adventurer and accordionist, provided the musical accompaniment, who enriched the evening with his performance. Also cultural city councilor Mag. Dr. Klaus Reitberger and Gerlinde Richter-Lichtblau from the Galerie Dia: Log warmly welcomed the guests and invited them to dive into the world of Alois Schild.

The Stadtgalerie Dialog is open to those interested in art on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free until July 11, 2025, which increases the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the works of sign and to enjoy the creative atmosphere of the gallery.
In addition, outdoor sculptures in Kufstein will be shown as part of the sculpture project "Trace Change Open Space". This project is an excellent addition to the exhibition and contributes to the cultural diversity of the city. This enables art to be experienced not only in the protected rooms of the gallery, but also in public space.
With this exhibition, the Stadtgalerie Dialog not only offers a platform for Alois Schild, but also illuminates the connection between contemporary art and regional character.
