Pure water action: Parktherme Aquathlon inspires 220 participants!
Südoststeiermark, Österreich - Last Saturday the area of the Parktherme turned into a lively fun sports paradise when the fifth round of the Parktherme aquathlon took place. With a proud 220 participants, spread over 110 teams, the event became a real magnet for water sports fans and spectators. And the encouragement was enormous: Due to the viewer resonance, which even attracted local politicians and guests of honor, the event proved that sweating and laughing in the water are very popular. Meinverzirk reports that the teams mastered a varied water obstacle course with a total of 12 challenges.
This included tasks such as the jump to the 50-meter sports pool, overcoming a slippery rock and even an exciting round of stand-up paddle ball, where both speed and accuracy were required. Further challenges included balancing on wobbly boards over the adventure pool and an exciting wet run race on all fours over different obstacles. The crowning glory was a hearty journey on the meter -high double slide - fun that no one could miss!

The “Section Ferschenmaxi section” team with Lorenz Klapsch and Sebastian Wolfslehner showed incredible skill and secured the winning of the course. The newly introduced crew cup also went to "Running Leibnitz", which started with three teams. Behind the scenes was a strong team that had organized the event. Martin Gutjahr, the creative head of the aquathlon, ensured that everything went smoothly.
